Testimonials from Educators & Students

The Middle School Mantras & Activities curriculum is a daily “Self-Empowering Experience” in which students build relationships, their character, social skills, self-esteem and self-awareness. This curriculum also teaches students how to be accountable for their own actions and take advantage of “Today”.

Here's what educators have to say:

One of my classes compared the lessons to the likeness of the Dr. Phil show because the mantras taught them to set goals, focus, and make positive choices. Many students enjoyed reciting the mantras because it made them feel good about themselves. I noticed that my students seemed more focused on their assignments after we completed the lessons and activities. Lastly, The Middle School Mantras set a positive tone for each of my classes.

A “must have”!!!

To Ronda Thorpe,
I am welcoming an opportunity to make a comment on behalf of your social skills curriculum that I have witnessed you teaching to our EMH students at Liberty Middle School. I believe that these lessons were helpful because it assisted our students in being reminded daily on their responsibilities, goals, and motivational techniques that they can use on a daily basis. I am very thankful for the opportunity of teaching these lessons under your supervision and guidance and I was very impressed with how our students willingly and eagerly participated in these lessons and how they assisted them with a daily focus on motivation to do and to be their best.

I would welcome to have and use these curriculums in my future years as an educator because I have been made aware of the profound impact they had and can have on students in a school setting.

All the best to you,
Amanda Champion

Ronda,
Students responded very well to your social skills lessons, which you modeled and practiced with them daily. Students lacking in social skills need to be carefully taught these important life skills. I observed your teaching and modeling and saw definite transference of these skills to the student you taught. This teaching enabled your students to cope and function better in both a group and in individual one-on-one interaction between teacher and student or student and student. It was a pleasure to work with you and learn from you.
Sincerely,
Angela Ranson

Hi Ronda,
I felt your curriculum-helped students with life skills issues. Your management of student conduct was excellent because of it. Students seemed better willing to learn.

Ronda,
Thank you so much for the presentation of your lessons. I had a chance to use the program with my class. We have done focus, listen, and developing skills with a major positive impact, evidence within the class already!!!
Thanks Again,
Joyce Rizzo

Thank you for motivating me to do new things. All the things that you wrote help me to be more confident in myself. Now I like to do my homework and participate in class. So I thank you.

Thank you very much for writing those awesome energizers for our class.  They changed me not only as a student, but the way I see people in their own way. You also gave me much more confidence in school and out of school to leave nothing unfinished or unsaid. I want to thank you so much for those lessons and the things you taught me. Sincerely,
Stephen Norris
