Objectives

  1. Students will define communication.
  2. Students will give examples of communication.
  3. Students will list positive ways they communicate on a school campus.
  4. Students will list adults on campus with whom they communicate respectfully.
  5. Students will give examples of how their communication keeps them out of trouble.
  6. Students will explain when communication is not appropriate.
  7. Students will list technology used for communication.
  8. Students will explain why learning how to communicate is an important social skill.

Materials

  1. Pen or pencil
  2. Notebook paper
  3. Rulers or yardstick
  4. Markers, crayons or colored pencils
  5. Construction paper, poster board, tag board or bulletin paper
  6. Magazines or newspaper
  7. Scissors
  8. Glue or paste

Pre-Test
